Alcohol consumption and domestic violence in a community center “Musuq Rikchay”, Ayacucho, 2021

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between alcohol consumption and violence against women in a “Musuq Rikchay” community center, Ayacucho, 2021. Material and method: The type of study is quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design; with a population of 120 women. Two instruments, the AUDIT Test, were used to evaluate alcohol consumption; Its dimensions are: Symptoms of dependence and Harmful consumption of alcohol and an instrument was constructed based on a Likert-type scale to measure the type of violence.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el consumo de alcohol y la violencia contra la mujer en un centro comunitario “Musuq Rikchay”, Ayacucho, 2021. Material y método: El tipo de estudio es cuantitativo descriptivo correlacional, diseño transversal; con una población de 120 mujeres. Se utilizaron dos instrumentos el Test AUDIT para evaluar el consumo de alcohol; Sus dimensiones son: Síntomas de dependencia y Consumo nocivo de alcohol y se construyó un instrumento en base a una escala tipo Likert para medir el tipo de violencia.
