Family detachment and its relationship with depression in the aspiring female cadets of the Chorrillos Military School, Lima - Peru, 2021

Abstract

Objective: To identify the relationship between family detachment and depression in the female cadet trainees at the Military School of Chorrillos, Lima, Peru, in 2021.

Material and method: This academic work is descriptive, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design. The study population will consist of 100 female cadets from the Military School of Chorrillos, and the entire population will be included in the study due to it being a finite population.

Data will be collected using a main instrument, the Adult Attachment Questionnaire "Modèles Individuels de Relations" (CaMir) by Pierre Humbert et al., 1996, through which we will explore attachment representations. The CaMir instrument consists of 72 items divided into 13 scales. Additionally, the Kovacs Depression Inventory (CDI) will be used, which aims to measure depressive symptoms in the target population.

The collected data will be entered into a matrix designed in Microsoft Excel 2013. The results will be processed into tables and statistical graphs using SPSS version 22.0 for analysis and interpretation, considering the theoretical framework.

Objetivo: Identificar la relación entre el desapego familiar y la depresión en el personal de cadetes femeninas aspirantes de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, Lima Perú en el año 2021 Material y método: El presente trabajo académico es de tipo descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental y transversal. la población del estudio estará conformada por 100 cadetes femeninas de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, por lo tanto, se tomará la totalidad de la población en estudio, por ser una población finita. Se obtendrán datos mediante un instrumento principal, que es el auto cuestionario de apego para adultos “Modeles Individueles de Relations” (CaMir) de Pierre Humbert y col., 1996, a través del cual exploraremos como se dan las representaciones de apego. CaMir, el instrumento a utilizar consta de 72 ítems; estos se dividen en 13 escalas. También se utilizará el Inventario de Depresión de Kovacs – CDI, cuyo objetivo es medir síntomas depresivos en la población objeto. Los datos recolectados serán ingresados en una matriz diseñada en Microsoft Excel 2013. Los resultados serán procesados en tablas y gráficos estadísticos en SPSS versión 22.0 para el análisis e interpretación considerando el marco teórico.
