Knowledge of the safe surgery checklist and application of nursing staff in the minor surgery area of the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases, 2023

Abstract

This research aims to: Determine the relationship between the knowledge and the application of the safe surgery checklist of nursing staff. The methodology: Hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental and correlational design, quantitative approach, applied type, cross-section; The sample will consist of 80 nursing professionals, the instruments that will be used for the research work will be; a questionnaire validated in the study of Correa A. (47) "Knowledge, attitudes and practical application of the checklist of safe surgery in the doctors of the General Surgery and Gynecology-Obstetrics services in a general hospital of Lima, Peru 2018", where according to the opinion of judges, a validity of 75% and an observation guide were delimited, validated in the Espinoza study "Knowledge and application of the safe surgery checklist in nursing professionals of the Surgical Center in a National Hospital of Lima, 2020", through the judgment of 3 experts; Both instruments have a high level of reliability, the data collection process will take around 30 minutes per participant. Tables and graphs will be used for the analysis and interpretation of the information collected. In addition, the Spearman test, a statistical estimate, will be used to validate the hypothesis with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. These results will be shown in the contingency table of both variables.

Esta investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los conocimientos y la aplicación de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura del personal de enfermería. La metodología: Método hipotético deductivo, diseño no experimental y correlacional, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de corte transversal; la muestra estará constituida por Lima, 2020”, mediante el juicio de 3 expertos; ambos instrumentos tienen un alto nivel de confiabilidad, el 80 profesionales de enfermería, los instrumentos que se usaran para el trabajo de investigación serán; un cuestionario validado en el estudio de Correa A. (47) “Conocimientos, actitudes y aplicación práctica de la lista de verificación de cirugía segura en los médicos de los servicios de Cirugía General y Gineco-Obstetricia en un hospital general de Lima, Perú 2018”, donde según la opinión de jueces, se llegó a delimitar una validez de 75% y una guía de observación, validada en el estudio de Espinoza “Conocimiento y aplicación de la lista de chequeo de cirugía segura en profesionales de enfermería del Centro Quirúrgico en un Hospital Nacional de proceso de recopilación de datos tomará alrededor de 30 minutos por participante. Se utilizarán tablas y gráficos para el análisis e interpretación de la información recopilada. Además, se utilizará la prueba de Spearman, una estimación estadística, para validar la hipótesis con un nivel de confianza del 95 % y un margen de error del 5 %. Estos resultados se mostrarán en la tabla de contingencia de ambas variables.
