dc.description.abstract	The secondary research titled "Critical Review: Effect of Protein Consumption Based on Source in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease without Renal Replacement Therapy" aimed to identify the effects of protein consumption based on source in the progression of chronic kidney disease in patients without renal replacement therapy. The review concluded that replacing animal protein with soy protein (SP) delayed the loss of glomerular filtration rate (GFR), as well as the increase of ventricular hypertrophy, blood pressure, and muscle mass loss. It also reduced phosphorus, cholesterol, and serum urea during the 12-month intervention.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación secundaria titulada como revisión crítica: Efecto del consumo de proteínas según el origen en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica sin terapia de reemplazo renal, tuvo como objetivo identificar los efectos del consumo de proteínas según el origen en la progresión de la enfermedad renal crónica en pacientes sin terapia de reemplazo renal. Donde se concluye que el reemplazo de la proteína animal por proteína de soja (PS) retrasó en mayor medida la pérdida de la tasa de filtración glomerular TFG, retrasó también el incremento de la hipertrofia ventricular, la presión arterial y la pérdida de la masa muscular; así mismo redujo el fósforo, colesterol y urea sérica en los 12 meses de intervención	es_ES
