Introduction: The problem of inadequate quality of care and dissatisfaction among emergency room users not only generates a waste of resources but also poses a significant challenge for our country. This study aims to determine the correlation between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the emergency service of the San José Hospital, Callao-2023. The research design employs a simple cross-sectional descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The study population will be made up of people who have received treatment in the emergency unit of the San José Hospital. The SERVQUAL tool, validated in 2017, will be used to measure both the quality of care and user satisfaction. The data obtained will be evaluated using non-parametric tests to identify possible correlations between the variables, and the SPSS software program will be used for data analysis. Given the qualitative nature of the variables, the statistical test of the correlation coefficient will be used to test the hypotheses.
Resumen
Introducción: El problema de la inadecuada calidad de la atención y la insatisfacción de los usuarios de las salas de urgencia no sólo genera un despilfarro de recursos, sino que también plantea un desafío importante para nuestro país. Este estudio tiene como Objetivo Determinar la correlación entre la calidad de la atención de enfermería y la satisfacción del paciente en el servicio de urgencias del Hospital San José, Callao-2023. El diseño de la investigación emplea un método descriptivo transversal simple con un enfoque cuantitativo. La Población en estudio estará formada por personas que han recibido tratamiento en la unidad de urgencias del Hospital San José.
