Knowledge and practices of breastfeeding in primiparous mothers of a national hospital of Lima, 2023

Abstract

The ongoing study will determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and breastfeeding practices of primiparous mothers from a hospital in Lima. Methodologically, it is an applied type of research, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross-section, with a non-probabilistic sample of 100 mothers. For the collection of the data corresponding to the variables, the technique will be the survey and the observation the instruments, the questionnaire for variable 1 and for the practices the observation guide. The statistic that will be used in this investigation to test the hypothesis is Spearman's Rho.

El estudio en curso se determinará la relación entre nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas de lactancia materna de las madres primíparas de un hospital limeño. En lo metodológico, se trata de una investigación de tipo aplicada, de enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, de nivel correlacional y de corte transversal, con una muestra no probabilística de 100 madres. Para el recojo de los datos correspondientes a las variables, la técnica será la encuesta y la observación los instrumentos, el cuestionario para la variable 1 y para las practicas la guía de observación. El estadístico que se utilizará en esta investigación para probar la hipótesis es Rho de Spearman
