Family support and adherence to treatment in patients with depression at the Community Mental Health Center

Abstract

This present investigation aims to: Determine the relationship between family support and adherence to treatment in patients with depression from a Community Mental Health Center 2023. Methodology: The method used in the investigation is hypothetical-deductive, of a quantitative, applicative type; non-experimental cross-sectional design of correlational scope. A sample of 83 patients with a diagnosis of depression who are treated in a mental health center in the south of Lima will be estimated. The questionnaire used for data collection will be the Family Support Assessment Scale as an instrument to identify the level of support. and the Morisky Green and Levine Questionnaire that measures Adherence to pharmacological treatment.

Esta presente investigación tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el apoyo familiar y adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con depresión de un Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario 2023. Metodología: El método utilizado en la investigación es hipotético-deductivo, de tipo cuantitativo, aplicativo; de diseño no experimental de corte transversal de alcance correlacional. Se estimará una muestra de 83 pacientes con diagnóstico de depresión que son atendidos en un centro de salud mental en el sur de lima, el cuestionario usado para la recolección de datos será la Escala de valoración de Apoyo Familiar como instrumento para identificar el nivel de apoyo familiar y el Cuestionario de Morisky Green y Levine que mide Adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico
