Psychosocial factors and job stress in the nursing staff of the emergency service in a hospital from Lima, 2024

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between psychosocial factors and job stress in the nursing staff of the emergency service. The research method is hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, correlational cross-sectional design. The sample population will be made up of 80 nurses, so the sample will be taken entirely from the population. Two instruments will be used to collection: Instrument 1: Questionnaire on Psychosocial Factors designed by Lahera and Góngora (2002) and Instrument 2: The Nursing work stress scale designed by Gray Toft and Anderson (1981). Data analysis and processing will be carried out in the SPSS version 26 program and Spearman's Rho test will be applied to test the hypothesis.

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación existente entre factores psicosociales y estrés laboral en el personal de enfermería del servicio de emergencias. El Método de investigación es hipotético deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental de corte transversal correlacional. La población muestral estará conformada por 80 enfermeros, por lo cual la muestra se tomará en su totalidad de la población. Para la recolección de datos se usarán dos instrumentos: Instrumento 1: Cuestionario sobre Factores Psicosociales diseñado por Lahera y Góngora (2002) e Instrumento 2: La escala de estrés laboral en enfermería diseñado por Gray Toft y Anderson (1981). El análisis y procesamiento de datos se realizará en el programa SPSS versión 26 y para la contrastación de la hipótesis se aplicará la prueba de Rho de Spearman.
