Knowledge about the prevention of pressure injuries and nursing practice in the intensive care unit service, hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Lima, 2022

Abstract

This research aims: to determine the relationship between knowledge about the prevention of pressure injuries and nursing practice in the Intensive Care Unit service, Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Lima, 2022. The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental cross-sectional design, quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive correlational; the sample will consist of 42 nursing professionals from the intensive care unit, Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, 2022, the instruments used for the research work will be; A questionnaire for the knowledge variable and an observation guide for the practical variable on the prevention of pressure injuries, which are already validated and with high reliability, for the collection of information will last approximately 25 minutes, for each participant, for the analysis and interpretation will be used frequency tables. Likewise, for the contracting of the hypothesis, the normality test will be used and it will be decided which statistic will be used.

Objetivo: determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre la prevención de lesiones por presión y la práctica de enfermería en el servicio de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Lima, 2022. La metodología: metodo hipotetico deductivo, diseño no experimental de corte transversal, de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, descriptivo correlacional; la muestra estará constituida por 42 profesionales de enfermería de la unidad de cuidados intensivos, Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, 2022, los instrumentos que se usaran para el trabajo de investigación serán; un cuestionario para la variable conocimiento y una guía de observación para la variable práctica sobre la prevención de lesiones por presión, los cuales ya están validados y con alta confiabilidad, para la recolección de la información se tendrá una duración aproximada de 25 minutos, para cada participante, para el análisis e interpretación se harán uso de tablas de frecuencia. Asimismo, para la contratación de la hipótesis, se utilizará la prueba de normalidad y se decidirá que estadístico se utilizará.
