Nursing professional work overload and performance in the emergency department, in a national hospital Lima, 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine what relationship exists between the work overload of the nursing professional and his performance in the Emergency Service, of a National Hospital in Lima 2022. The hypothetical-deductive method will be used, as it seeks to accept or deny the proposed hypotheses. Likewise, the level of research is descriptive correlational because it has the purpose of knowing the main characteristics of the variables and establishing the degree of relationship between them. The approach is quantitative, this is based on the measurement of the variables through statistics and ordinal values, to establish patterns of behavior of the variables. The study is descriptive correlational, where it seeks to identify the main characteristics of the variable and then find the degree of relationship between them. This study has a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population will consist of 85 nursing professionals from the Emergency Service of the National Hospital of Lima. In the case of the work overload variable, the reliability obtained was a high Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.885. In the case of the professional performance variable, the reliability obtained was a high Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.890.

Objetivo: Determinar qué relación existe entre la sobrecarga laboral del profesional de enfermería y su desempeño en el Servicio de Emergencias, de un Hospital Nacional de, Lima 2022. Se utilizará el método hipotético-deductivo, pues busca aceptar o negar las hipótesis planteadas. Asimismo, el nivel de la investigación es descriptivo correlacional porque tiene el propósito de conocer las características principales de las variables y establecer el grado de relación entre ellas. El enfoque es cuantitativo, este se basa en la medición de las variables a través de la estadística y los valores ordinales, para establecer patrones de comportamientos de las variables, El estudio es descriptivo correlacional, donde busca identificar las características principales de la variable para luego encontrar el grado de relación entre ellas. Este estudio tiene un diseño no experimental, transversal. La población estará constituida por 85 profesionales de enfermería del Servicio de Emergencias, del Hospital Nacional de, Lima. En el caso de la variable sobrecarga laboral la confiabilidad que se obtuvo fue un coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach alto de 0,885. En el caso de la variable desempeño profesional la confiabilidad que se obtuvo fue un coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach alto de 0,890
