The present objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the coping strategies in the Covid19 pandemic of the nurses of the Hospital de Barranca Cajatambo 2023. Materials and methods: the research was included within the quantitative method of the descriptive type of correlational level, made up of a population of 119 nurses, the sample consisted of probabilistic convenience sampling of 80 nurses. Techniques and instruments: the technique used was the survey and two questionnaires with Likert scale-type alternatives for each variable were used as instruments. Results: Regarding the Burnout Syndrome variable, there is a low tendency of 7% to develop Burnout, followed by 38% medium and high with 55%. On the other hand, the coping strategies variable, it was found that 69% have a regular coping strategy, 22% good, 5% excellent and 4% deficient. Likewise, it was statistically demonstrated that between the Burnout Syndrome variable and coping strategies there is a low significant relationship with a Rho=-0.0223 with a significance value of p=0.016, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Conclusion: We can conclude that a high level of Burnout is related to a deficient coping strategy on the part of the nurses of the Barranca Hospital, which hinders the quality of care and the full development of work activities, which is currently considered a Public Health problem.en_US
