Level of knowledge of kidney disease and self-care practice of patients in renal replacement therapy in a public hospital in Lima 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of kidney disease and the relationship with the self-care practice of patients on renal replacement therapy. Materials and methods: a quantitative non-experimental study of correlational scope, the method used for the production of knowledge is the hypothetical deductive with a type of applied research. The population will be made up of 90 patients who attend the hemodialysis unit of the Public Hospital of Lima. The shifts that take place during the week will work with a census sample according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data will be collected with the survey technique, 2 instruments will be applied with validity in the Peruvian context; On the other hand, the hypotheses will be answered, quantitative measurements and statistical analyzes will be made to determine the relationship between the variables through descriptive and inferential statistics, and the hypotheses will be verified with the RHO test of Spermam. Throughout the investigation, research conduct will be maintained in accordance with ethical principles.

Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento de la enfermedad renal y la relación con la práctica de autocuidado de los pacientes en terapia de reemplazo renal. Materiales y métodos: un estudio no experimental cuantitativo de alcance correlacional, el método que se utiliza para la producción de conocimiento es el hipotético deductivo con un de tipo de investigación aplicada. La población la conformaran 90 pacientes que asisten a la unidad de hemodiálisis del Hospital Público de Lima el los turnos que se dan en la semana se trabajara con una muestra censal de acuerdo con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Los datos se recolectaran con la técnica la encuesta, se aplicaran 2 instrumentos con validez en el contexto peruano; por otra parte se dará respuesta a las hipótesis planteadas se harán mediciones cuantitativas y análisis estadísticos para determinar la relación entre las variables a través de la estadística descriptiva e inferencial, y se comprobaran las hipótesis con la prueba RHO de Spearman, Durante toda la investigación se mantendrá una conducta de investigación apegada a los principios éticos
