Eating habits and nutritional status in elderly adults members of the elderly adult club of Hospital Chancay, 2020

Abstract

Introduction: People in the world over 60 years of age between 2015 and 2050 will change from 900 million to 2 billion, which will represent a growth of 12% to 22%. In Peru, the estimate of accelerated aging is developed based on the particular social argument and with an epidemiological turn that shows an increase in chronic non-communicable diseases. Objective: To determine the relationship between eating habits and nutritional status in older adults who are members of the senior club of the Chancay hospital, 2020 Methodology: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional study will be carried out. The study population The study population will be made up of 65 older adults who are members of the senior club of the Chancay hospital. The Eating Habits Questionnaire, which consists of 32 items, will be applied as an instrument. The data obtained will be tabulated and statistically processed, applying the statistical package SPSS 24, and Excel.

Introducción: Las personas en el mundo con más de 60 años de edad entre el 2015 y 2050 cambiarán de 900 millones a 2000 millones, lo que representará un crecimiento de 12% al 22%. en el Perú la estimación de envejecimiento apresurado se desarrolla en base al argumento social particular y con un giro epidemiológico que muestra un crecimiento de las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre los hábitos alimentarios y el estado nutricional en los adultos mayores integrantes del club del adulto mayor del hospital Chancay, 2020 Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de tipo descriptivo, no experimental, transversal. la población del estudio la población del estudio estará conformada por 65 adultos mayores que integran el club del adulto mayor del hospital de chancay. Se aplicara como instrumento el Cuestionario de hábitos alimentarios, la que consta de 32. Los datos obtenidos serán tabulados y procesados estadísticamente, aplicando el paquete estadístico SPSS 24, y Excel.
