Level of knowledge of self-care and its relationship with complications in post-operated cataract patients at Oculaser Clinic, Lima 2022.

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of self-care knowledge and complications in patients who have undergone cataract surgery at the Oculaser Clinic, Lima in 2022. Material and method: This research has a quantitative approach. The overall level of self-care knowledge is high in 52%, low in 37%, and average in 11%; overall, 46% is high, 40% is low, and 14% is low. There is a relationship between the overall level of self-care knowledge and complications in patients who have undergone cataract surgery in 91%.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación del nivel de conocimiento de autocuidado con las complicaciones en pacientes post operados de catarata en Clínica Oculaser, Lima 2022. Material y método: Esta investigación tiene enfoque cuantitativo. El nivel de conocimiento de autocuidado de forma global el 52% es alto, 37% es bajo, y 11% regular, para complicaciones en forma global, el 46% es alta, el 40% baja y 14% baja. Hay relación del nivel de conocimiento de autocuidado global con las complicaciones en pacientes post operados de catarata en 91%.
