Social isolation and depression during quarantine in families of the community mental health center, Banda de Shilcayo, 2022

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between social isolation and depression during quarantine in families at the community mental health center, Banda de Shilcayo, 2022. Material and method: This research study is of an applied type with a quantitative, non-experimental approach, with a descriptive correlational-cross-sectional design. The population will be made up of 30 families from the Community Mental Health Center, Banda de Shilcayo. For data collection, the survey technique will be used, where 2 instruments will be applied, which are "Social Isolation Questionnaire" which consists of 16 items with a Likert-type scale whose dimensions are: Social, Economic and Cultural, the following instrument "Depression Questionnaire" which consists of 20 items whose dimensions are: Psychic component and Physiological component. Both instruments have validity and reliability values allowing to ensure that the instrument is reliable and suitable for its application.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre aislamiento social y la depresión durante la cuarentena en las familias del centro de salud mental comunitario, Banda de Shilcayo, 2022. Material y método: el presente estudio de investigación es de tipo aplicada con enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, de diseño descriptivo correlacional- transversal. la población estará conformada por 30 familias del Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario, Banda de Shilcayo. Para la recolección de datos se utilizará la técnica de la encuesta, donde se aplicará 2 instrumentos los cuales son “Cuestionario de aislamiento social” el cual consta de 16 ítems con escala tipo Likert cuyas dimensiones son: Social, Económico y Cultural, el siguiente instrumento “Cuestionario de Depresión” el cual consta de 20 ítems cuyas dimensiones son: Componente psíquico y Componente fisiológico. Ambos instrumentos cuentan con valores de validez y confiabilidad permitiendo asegurar que el instrumento es confiable y apto para su aplicación.
