Resumen
The objective of the study is to determine how knowledge about respiratory diseases is related to preventive practices in mothers of children under 5 years of age. Methods: We will work with an applied methodology, which has a quantitative approach, developed in a nonexperimental cross-sectional design, where the population will consist of 118 mothers of infants under 5 years of age, with a sample of 90 mothers to whom the data collection instruments will be applied, two questionnaires, from which data will be obtained that will be coded in a database developed in the Excel program, which will be processed and analyzed by the Spss 25.0 program, which will provide descriptive results with tables and figures that represent the variables and dimensions, in addition to providing inferential results through Spearman's Rho, which is a test that will corroborate the validity and veracity of the study hypotheses, with which to be able to provide the conclusions reached in the measurement of the study variables.
Resumen
El objetivo de estudio es, determinar cómo los conocimientos sobre enfermedades respiratorias se relacionan con las prácticas preventivas en madres de niños menores de 5 años. Métodos: Se trabajará con una metodología aplicada, que cuenta con un enfoque cuantitativo, desarrollada en un diseño no experimental de corte transversal, en donde la población estará constituida por 118 madres de infantes menores de 5 años, con una muestra de 90 madres a las que se le aplicará los instrumentos de recolección de datos, dos cuestionarios, de los cuales se obtendrá datos que serán codificados en una base de datos elaborada en el programa Excel, la cual será procesada y analizada por el programa Spss 25.0, lo que brindará resultados descriptivos con tablas y figuras que representaran las variables y dimensiones, además brindara resultados inferenciales a través del Rho de Spearman, la cual es una prueba que permitirá corroborar la validez y veracidad de las hipótesis de estudio, con lo cual poder brindar la conclusiones a las que se llegue en la medición de las variables de estudio.
