Stress and lifestyles in nursing students at a private university in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The present research work entitled "academic stress and lifestyles of nursing students of the VII cycle of a Private University of Lima, 2023", has as objective: Determine the relationship between academic stress and lifestyles in students of the VII cycle of the nursing career of a Private University of Lima. The research methodology is hypothetical - deductive with a quantitative approach, of an applied type, of a non-experimental descriptive design - correlational and cross-sectional. The sample is made up of 103 university students, the technique for data collection was the survey in both variables. Results: Academic stress is not related to lifestyles in nursing students of the VII cycle of a Private University of Lima, resulting in a Pearson correlation of r = 0.081 with a value of p = 0.477, this being greater than the 0.05.

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “estrés académico y estilos de vida en estudiantes de enfermería de una Universidad Privada de Lima, 2023”, tiene planteado como objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés académico y los estilos de vida en estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería de una Universidad Privada de Lima, 2023. La metodología de investigación es hipotético - deductivo de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, de diseño no experimental descriptivo – correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra por conveniencia está conformada por 80 estudiantes universitarios, la técnica para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta en ambas variables. Resultados: El estrés académico no se relaciona con los estilos de vida en los estudiantes de enfermería de una Universidad Privada de Lima teniendo como resultado según correlación de Pearson de r = 0,081 con un valor de p = 0,477 siendo este mayor que el 0,05.
