Risk factors and their relationship with the stages of chronic kidney disease in patients attending the nephrology service of a hospital in Callao - 2021

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between risk factors and the degree of chronic kidney disease in patients who attend the nephrology service of a Hospital in Callao-2021. Methodology: Quantitative cross-sectional study and descriptive correlational design. The population is made up of patients who are treated at the Callao Hospital-Peru in the nephrology service and have kidney disease, for the selection inclusion and exclusion criteria are taken. The sample group is made up of the 90 patients with CKD in the nephrology service, as it is an accessible sample to work with. Techniques and Instruments: For the Risk Factors the technique will be the interview and the instruments two questionnaires, while for the CKD Stages the documentary analysis with a Transcription Sheet instrument is used as a technique. Procedures: Data collection will be carried out during the last week of November in the Nephrology Service. The data obtained through the instruments will be entered into the SPSS V24.0 program, where the correlation will be carried out using the Chi square test, presented in tables and interpreted graphs. The conclusions will be made based on the objectives set and the results obtained.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los factores de riesgo y el grado de enfermedad renal crónica en los pacientes que acuden al servicio de nefrología de un Hospital del Callao-2021. Metodología: Estudio enfoque cuantitativo de corte trasversal y diseño descriptivo correlacional. la población la conforman pacientes que se atienden en el Hospital del Callao-Perú en el servicio de nefrología y presentan enfermedad renal, para la selección se toma criterios de inclusión y de exclusión. El grupo de muestra está constituido por los 90 pacientes con ERC el servicio de nefrología, por ser una muestra accesible de trabajar. Técnicas e Instrumentos: Para los Factores de riesgo la técnica será la entrevista y los instrumentos dos cuestionarios, mientras que para los Estadios de ERC utiliza como técnica el análisis documentario con instrumento a una Hoja de Transcripción. Procedimientos: la recolección de datos se realizará en la última semana de noviembre en el Servicio de nefrología, los datos obtenidos mediante los instrumentos serán ingresados al programa SPSS V24.0, donde se realizará la correlación mediante la prueba Chi cuadrado, presentados en cuadros y gráficas interpretados. Las conclusiones se harán en base a los objetivos planteados y los resultados que se obtengan.
