Occupational risk and biosafety measures practices of nursing staff in a surgical center of a national hospital, Lima, Lima, 2022

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: Determine the relationship between occupational risk and the practices of biosafety measures of the nursing staff of a national hospital surgical center, Lima, 2022. Methodology: Hypothetical deductive, correlational, observational, non-experimental cross-sectional study. The instruments chosen for this study were the scale to measure the occupational risk of professional nursing staff and the guide for managing biosafety provisions for the nursing professional in the surgical area (observation guide); which have already been validated. Sample: made up of 35 nurses who work in the surgical center of a national Hospital in Lima. Both instruments will be applied and then processed by the SPSS program and Microsoft Excel to obtain the results in order to respond to the objectives through graphs and tables.

El presente estudio tiene como propósito: Determinar la relación entre riesgo laboral y las prácticas de medidas de bioseguridad del personal de enfermería de un centro quirúrgico hospital nacional, Lima, 2022. Metodología: Estudio hipotético deductivo, correlacional, observacional corte transversal no-experimental. Los instrumentos que se eligieron para este estudio fueron la escala para medir el riesgo laboral del personal profesional de enfermería y la guía de manejo de disposiciones de bioseguridad del profesional de enfermería del área quirúrgico (guía de observación); los cuales ya han sido validados. Muestra: conformada por 35 enfermeras(os) que laboran en centro quirúrgico de un Hospital nacional de Lima. Ambos instrumentos serán aplicados y luego procesados por el programa SPSS y Microsoft Excel para obtener los resultados con el fin de responder los objetivos por medio de gráficos y tablas.
