Knowledge of the use of personal digital audio players and their relationship with hearing loss in workers attending the audiometry service at Salud Laboris Clinic, Lima - 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between knowledge of the use of personal digital audio players and Hearing Loss in workers who attend the audiometry service of the Salus Laboris 2022 Clinic. Methodology: the study will be hypothetical, deductive, descriptive, correlational. The population will be 630 whose sample is 239. The instrument that will be used for the first variable will be the questionnaire that will be taken from a research work from the National University of the Altiplano of Puno, whose author is Yesica Inquilla Quispe in her thesis titled “Knowledge about the use of headphones and their effects on hearing in students of the Potojani Grande Industrial Agricultural Industrial Secondary Educational Institution Chucuito, Puno – 2018.” The instrument of the second variable will be the audiogram, which is universally used in the tone audiometry examination, which is a functional test to determine the degree of hearing of people. This format will be obtained from the audiometric evaluation format used by the Salus Laboris Clinic in the evaluation of occupational medical examinations.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento del uso de reproductores personales de audio digital y la Hipoacusia en los trabajadores que asisten al servicio de audiometría de la Clínica Salus Laboris 2022. Metodología: el estudio será hipotético deductivo, descriptivo correlacional. La población será de 630 cuya muestra es de 239. El instrumento que se utilizará para la primera variable, será el cuestionario que será tomada de un trabajo de investigación de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno, cuya autora es Yesica Inquilla Quispe en su tesis titulada “Conocimiento sobre uso de auriculares y sus efectos en la audición en estudiantes de Institución Educativa Secundaria Agropecuario Industrial Potojani Grande Chucuito, Puno – 2018”. El instrumento de la segunda variable será el audiograma el cual es de uso universal que se emplea en el examen de audiometría tonal que es una prueba funcional para determinar el grado de audición de las personas. Este formato será obtenido del formato de evaluación audiométrica que utiliza la Clínica Salus Laboris en la evaluación de exámenes médicos ocupacionales.
