Level of stress and job satisfaction in nursing staff in the emergency area of ​​a national hospital, Callao - 2022

Abstract

Introduction: The theme of this study is about stress and job satisfaction of nursing staff who work in the emergency area. Both aspects are closely linked, since if the nurse is affected by stress, it will have an impact on his or her job satisfaction. Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of stress and job satisfaction in the nursing staff of the Emergency area of ​​a National Hospital, Callao 2022. Material and Method: The study will be applied, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational scope. The population will be nurses from the Emergency service, during the period from June to December 2022. Two Likert-type scale instruments will be used, prior authorization and signing of the informed consent of the participants. Results: A matrix will be created in Excel with the collected data, the information will be transferred to a SPSS version 26.0 software program, to prepare the tables, figures and inferential statistics that will test the hypotheses to determine the possible relationships between both variables of the study. through Spearman's non-parametric test.

Introducción: La temática del presente estudio es sobre el estrés y la satisfacción laboral del personal de enfermería que labora en el área de emergencia. Ambos aspectos se encuentran estrechamente unidos, ya que si el enfermero(a) se encuentra afectado por el estrés, repercutirá en su satisfacción laboral. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de estrés y satisfacción laboral en el personal de enfermería del área de Emergencia de un Hospital Nacional, Callao 2022.Material y Método: El estudio será de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y de alcance correlacional. La población serán los enfermeros del servicio de Emergencias, durante el periodo de junio a diciembre de 2022.Se utilizarán dos instrumentos de escala tipo Likert, previa autorización y firma del consentimiento informado de los participantes. Resultados : Se creará una matriz en Excel con los datos recopilados , se trasferirá la información a un programa de software SPSS versión 26.0, para elaborar las tablas ,figuras y estadísticos inferenciales que probaran las hipótesis para determinar las posibles relaciones entre ambas variables del estudio a través de la prueba no paramétrica de Spearman.
