Importance of preoperative marking in the quality of life of ostomized patients

Abstract

Objective: Systematize the available evidence on the importance of preoperative marking on the quality of life of the ostomized patient. Materials and Method: The type of research was quantitative, the study design used was a systematic review, the instrument was PubMed, Index, Wiley Online Library, Europa PMC, Revista Seapa, Turk J Colorectal, the study population was 50 articles and the sample of 10 articles. The sample was carefully selected after undergoing a critical reading; The GRADE method was used to evaluate the articles. Results: In the selection, 10 articles were chosen, found from Switzerland, Canada, Turkey, Spain, USA, these articles were largely descriptive analysis, quantitative clinical study, cross-sectional analysis where 100% affirm the importance of preoperative marking in the quality of life of the ostomized patient. Conclusions: The importance of preoperative marking in the quality of life of the ostomized patient is 100% conclusive according to this review, since it increases the adaptation, reduces complications and improves the quality of life of the ostomized patient.

Objetivo: Sistematizar las evidencias disponibles sobre la importancia del marcaje pre operatorio en la calidad de vida del paciente ostomizado. Materiales y Método: El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativa, el diseño de estudio utilizado fue una revisión sistemática, el instrumento fue, PubMed, Index, Wiley Online Library, Europa PMC, Revista Seapa, Turk J Colorectal, la población en estudio fueron de 50 artículos y la muestra de 10 artículos. La muestra fue seleccionada cuidadosamente tras someterla una lectura crítica; para la evaluación de los artículos se utilizó el método GRADE. Resultados: En la selección se eligió 10 artículos, encontrados de Suiza, Canadá, Turquía, España, E.E.EU.U, estos artículos en gran parte fueron análisis descriptivos, estudio Clínico cuantitativo, análisis transversal donde el 100% afirmar la importancia del marcaje preoperatorio en la calidad de vida del paciente ostomizado, Conclusiones: La importancia del marcaje preoperatorio en la calidad de vida del paciente ostomizado, es concluyente en un 100% según ésta revisión, ya que aumenta la adaptación, reduce complicaciones y mejora la calidad de vida del paciente ostomizado.
