Level of knowledge and practice in the management of the polytraumatized patient carried out by the nurses of the emergency service of a hospital II of Callao 2021

Abstract

Objective: The present research will aim to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of the management of polytraumatized patients performed by emergency nurses of a hospital II Callao. To accomplish this study, the quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive method, applied research type and a descriptive correlational cross-sectional design will be used. We will work with a group of 50 nurses from the emergency area, 2 instruments will be applied per person: the first a questionnaire of questions, the level of knowledge will be evaluated (airway dimension and stabilization of the cervical spine, ventilation, circulation and hemorrhage control, neurological evaluation and patient exposure) and later the observation guide will be applied in practice (With the same mentioned). Statistical: The SPSS version 25 program will be used, and Cronbach's Alpha to measure the reliability.

Objetivo: la presente investigación tendrá como objetivo determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y práctica del manejo del paciente politraumatizado que realizan las enfermeras de emergencia de un hospital II Callao. Para el cumplimiento de este estudio se utilizará el enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético deductivo, tipo de investigación aplicada y con un diseño descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal. Se trabajará con un grupo de 50 Enfermeras del área de emergencia, se aplicará 2 instrumentos por persona: el primero un cuestionario de preguntas, se evaluará el nivel de conocimiento (dimensión vías aérea y estabilización de la columna cervical, ventilación, circulación y control de hemorragia, evaluación neurológica y exposición del paciente) y posteriormente se aplicará la guía de observación en práctica (Con las mismas mencionada). Estadístico: Se utilizará el programa SPSS versión 25, y Alfa de Cronbach para medir la confiabilidad.
