In vitro evaluation of resistance to bending on three types of poles fiberglass of different brands, refor post (ángelus), fiber post (maquira) and medical micro (simplex), Lima 2022

Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare the flexural strength of three brands of fiberglass posts: Fiber Post (Maquira), Refor Post (Ángelus), and Micro Medica (Simplex). An in vitro, comparative, prospective, and cross-sectional study was conducted with 30 fiberglass posts from three brands: Fiber Post (Maquira), Refor Post (Ángelus), and Micro Medica (Simplex), divided into three subgroups, each consisting of 10 fiberglass posts. Flexural strength was determined using a universal testing machine. Numerical values were collected using a data collection form, and the data was analyzed using the SPSS version 22.0 statistical software. The results showed that the flexural strength of the Refor Post fiberglass post had an average of 887.49 MPa, followed by Fiber Post and Micro Medica with averages of 798.91 MPa and 607.75 MPa, respectively. In conclusion, the Refor Post fiberglass post showed superior resistance compared to the Fiber Post and Micro Medica brands.

La finalidad de la presente. investigación. tiene como objetivo el comparar. la resistencia. a la flexión de tres tipos de marcas de poste de fibra. de vidrio, Fiber Post (Maquira), Refor Post (Ángelus) y Micro Medica (Simplex). Se realizó un estudio in vitro, comparativo, prospectivo y transversal, estuvo compuesto por 30 postes. de. FV de tres tipos de marcas, Fiber Post (Maquira), Refor Post (Ángelus) y Micro Medica (Simplex), dividiéndose en tres sub grupos y cada uno compuesto por n=10 postes de fibra. de. vidrio. Se determinó la resistencia a la flexión por medio de una maquina universal. Se recolectaron los valores numéricos mediante una. ficha. de recolección. de datos. Refor Post presentan un promedio de 887.49 Mpa, seguida de Fiber Post y Micro médica con promedios de 798.91 Mpa y 607.75 Mpa respectivamente. En conclusión, el poste. de. FV Refor Post mostró superioridad en la resistencia a comparación de la marca Fiber Post y Micro médica
