Abstract

The care of patients with polytrauma who enter the emergency area requires duly specialized nursing professionals, in order to respond effectively and efficiently to their requirements. Despite this, it has been detected that the knowledge in this regard does not allow providing the nursing care that is required, putting at risk its adequate assessment, stabilization and referral to the corresponding area to receive timely treatment and minimize the risks to which they are found. exposed.
