Perception of nursing care and satisfaction of pregnant users attended in emergency at the National Maternal Perinatal Institute, Lima 2023

Abstract

Introduction: Emergency nursing care is fundamental according to the patient's needs, since the nurse must be aware of the clinical management and the care provided in this service, since patients come with different ailments and the nurse must identify the priorities and state of gravity that enters to handle various situations that guarantee good care. For this reason, it is expected that the patient will be satisfied with each care that is provided with the relevant care. Objective: To determine the perception of nursing care and the satisfaction of the pregnant patient who attends the emergency room of the National Maternal Perinatal Institute Lima 2022. Methods: descriptive, quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional study, the sample will consist of 120 emergency pregnant women of the National Maternal Perinatal Institute. The survey will be used to apply two Likert scale questionnaires adapted for health services by Gonzales, Sepulveda, Rojas, Cardenas, Guevara, and Castro, for the target population both instruments have been validated by expert judgment to measure the study variables. The data will be processed in SPSS 23 and the hypotheses will be tested using the statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient given the quantitative nature of the variables.

Los cuidados de enfermería en emergencia son fundamentales según necesidad del paciente ya que la enfermera debe ser conocedora del manejo clínico y del cuidado que proporciona en este servicio debido que los pacientes acuden con diferentes dolencias y la enfermera debe identificar las prioridades y estado de gravedad que ingresa para manejar diversas situaciones que garantice una buena atención. Por ello se espera que el paciente quede satisfecho en cada atención que se le brinda con los cuidados pertinentes. Objetivo: Determinar la percepción del cuidado de enfermería y la satisfacción de la paciente gestante que acude a emergencia del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal Lima 2023. Métodos: estudio de tipo descriptivo, cuantitativo, correlacional y transeccional, la muestra estará compuesta por 120 gestantes de emergencia del Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal. Se hará uso de la encuesta para utilizar dos cuestionarios en escala de Likert adecuados para los servicios de salud por Gonzales et al., para la población objetivo ambos instrumentos están validados por juicio de expertos para medir las variables del estudio. Dado que las variables son de naturaleza cuantitativa, las hipótesis se probarán mediante la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Spearman y se utilizará SPSS 25 para el procesamiento de datos
