Sobrecarga laboral y desempeño del profesional de enfermería en el centro quirúrgico de un hospital de Lima, 2023

Abstract

Según la OMS y la OIT, la sobrecarga laboral se trata de un proceso de perturbación que afecta al individuo cuando existe un desequilibrio de adaptación a circunstancias del entorno profesional que superan sus capacidades físicas y mentales debido a turnos de trabajo extenuantes, una mala organización o un entorno social inadecuado, dando lugar a problemas físicos o mentales, accidentes de trabajo, trastornos socio-familiares y poca productividad. OBJETIVO: Determinar la relación que existe entre la sobrecarga laboral y el desempeño del profesional de enfermería en el Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital de Lima, 2023. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: investigación es cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal, que permitirá dar respuesta a la hipótesis planteada, asimismo, como población se trabajará con 80 participantes del personal de enfermería que laboran en el Centro Quirúrgico de un Hospital de Lima. Para medir las dos variables se utilizarán dos encuestas en forma de cuestionarios, los cuales fueron validados y aplicados por la investigadora De La Cruz en el año 2022 en Lima-Perú. La validación de ambas variables será por medio de 3 jueces expertos y una prueba con coeficiente Binomial de 0.1. para la V1 y de 0.05. para la V2. La confiabilidad para ambas variables será por medio de una prueba piloto de 20 encuestados, obteniendo un alfa de 0.907, para la V1 y de 0,890 para la V2. Se utilizan tablas de frecuencias y gráficos para analizar los datos. Finalmente, se utilizará una prueba inferencial que utilice el estadístico Rho de Spearman para establecer el coeficiente de correlación.

According to WHO and ILO, work overload is a process of disturbance that affects the individual when there is an imbalance of adaptation to circumstances of the professional environment that exceed their physical and mental capacities due to strenuous work shifts, poor organization or an inadequate social environment, resulting in physical or mental problems, work accidents, social and family disorders, and productivity. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between work overload and nursing professional performance in the Surgical Center of a Lima Hospital, 2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This is a quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional research, which will allow us to respond to the hypothesis proposed. Likewise, we will work with 80 participants from the nursing staff working in the Surgical Center of a Hospital in Lima as a population. To measure the two variables, two surveys will be used in the form of questionnaires, which were validated and applied by the researcher De La Cruz in the year 2022 in Lima-Peru. The validation of both variables will be by means of 3 expert judges and a Binomial coefficient test of 0.1 for V1 and 0.05 for V2. Reliability for both variables will be by means of a pilot test of 20 respondents, obtaining an alpha of 0.907 for V1 and 0.890 for V2. Frequency tables and graphs will be used to analyze the data. Finally, an inferential test using Spearman's Rho statistic will be used to establish the correlation coefficient.
