Stress level and its relationship with anxiety during the COVID‐19 pandemic in nursing personnel, at the Army Headquarters Medical Center, 2021

Abstract

Nurses are the most vulnerable group of health workers, to develop stress and anxiety during the day-to-day professional practice, which is characterized by the management of critical situations, for its efficient acting, being a nurse carries a great responsibility due to pressures, and changes in their performance. The objective of this work is to determine the level of stress and anxiety in nursing personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic, at the Army Headquarters Medical Center 2021. Quantitative, descriptive approach, non-experimental design, cross section. The study population will be made up of 30 nurses who work in the health center of the army headquarters. Data collection technique and instrument, a questionnaire consisting of 24 questions will be used with the prior permission and informed consent of the participants, the results will be collected and processed, coded and entered into a design base in Excel and will be tabulated and processed under a system, using the statistical package SPSS version 22.

Las enfermeras son el grupo más vulnerable de trabajadores de la salud, para desarrollar estrés y ansiedad durante la práctica profesional día a día, la cual se caracteriza por el manejo de situaciones críticas, por su actuar eficiente, ser enfermeras conlleva una gran responsabilidad por consecuencia presiones, y alteraciones en su desempeño. El presente trabajo, tiene por objetivo determinar el nivel de estrés y ansiedad en el personal de enfermería durante la pandemia COVID‐19, en el centro médico del cuartel general del ejército 2021. Enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, diseño no experimental, diseño no experimental, corte transversal. La población del estudio estará conformada por 30 enfermeras que laboran en el centro de salud del cuartel general del ejército. Técnica e instrumento de recolección de datos se utiliza un cuestionario que consta de 24 preguntas con el permiso previo y consentimiento informado de los participantes, los resultados serán recolectados y procesados, codificados e ingresados en una base de diseño en Excel y serán tabulados y procesados bajo un sistema, empleando el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 22
