Knowledge and attitude of nursing staff on cardiopulmonary resuscitation are related in the emergency service in a national hospital of Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objective: "To establish how the knowledge and attitude of nursing staff on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation are related in the emergency service in a National Hospital of Lima, 2023". Population: It will be made up of 130 nursing professionals from the emergency service. Sample: It will be made up of 97 nurses, for the calculation a probabilistic sampling was used according to the convenience of the researchers. Methodological design: The type of research that we will use is applied. The method is hypothetical-deductive, observational, descriptive and transversal. The design to be used will be correlational. Instruments: For the evaluation of the variable "Knowledge about resuscitation", we will use the questionnaire prepared by Galvez in 2016, reliable with Kurder Richardson with a result of 0.7417 and for the evaluation of the variable "Attitudes about resuscitation", a questionnaire modified and adapted by Meneses and Mendoza in 2017, reliable with Cronbach's Alpha 0.983. Data processing and analysis: we will use descriptive statistics that will allow us to calculate the frequency and figures and inferential statistics that will allow us to establish if there is a relationship between the variables.

Muestra: Será conformada por 97 enfermeros, para el cálculo se utilizó un muestreo probabilístico según conveniencia de los investigadores. Diseño metodológico: El tipo de investigación que utilizaremos es aplicado. El método es hipotético- deductivo, observacional, descriptivo y trasversal. El diseño que se utilizará será correlacional. Instrumentos: Para la evaluación de la variable “Conocimientos sobre reanimación”, utilizaremos el cuestionario elaborado por Gálvez en el 2016, confiable con Kurder Richardson con resultado de 0,7417 y para la evaluación de la variable “Actitudes sobre reanimación”, se usará un cuestionario modificado y adaptado por Meneses y Mendoza en el 2017, confiable con Alpha de Cronbach 0,983. Procesamiento y análisis de datos: usaremos la estadística tipo descriptiva que nos permitirá calcular la frecuencia y figuras y la estadística inferencial que nos permitirá establecer si existe relación entre las variables.
