Associated factors and their relationship with the quality of life in patients with cardiovascular diseases of a national hospital of the Cercado de Lima, 2021

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the relationship between associated factors and quality of life in patients with cardiovascular diseases at a National Hospital in the Cercado de Lima, 2021. Material and method: This study was developed under a quantitative approach, as it uses data collection to support the study hypothesis and statistical analysis to determine the results in the target population. The design is correlational and cross-sectional, as it seeks to establish the relationship between the study variables. The population considered will be the 145 patients who attend the cardiology outpatient clinic of a hospital in Cercado de Lima. The technique to be used will be the survey, and the instrument for measuring quality of life will be the SF-36, while the factors will be assessed using the general data form, both of which have been validated in our context in 2020 and show acceptable reliability.

Objetivo: Analizar la relación entre factores asociados y calidad de vida en pacientes con enfermedades cardiovasculares de un Hospital Nacional del Cercado de Lima, 2021. Material y método: Este trabajo fue desarrollado bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, ya que utiliza la recolección de datos para refrendar la hipótesis de estudio y el análisis estadístico para determinar los resultados en población objeto de estudio. El diseño es correlacional y transversal; ya que se busca establecer la relación de las variables del estudio. La población considerada serán los 145 pacientes que asisten a la consulta externa del consultorio de cardiología de un Hospital de Cercado de Lima. La técnica a utilizar será la encuesta y el instrumento para medir la calidad de vida será el SF-36 y para los factores la ficha de datos generales, los cuales ya han sido validados en nuestra realidad en 2020 y muestran una confiabilidad aceptable.
