Effectiveness of the position of the knee flexure to improve the rotation and decrease of hidden blood after the arthroplasty in surgical patient

Abstract

Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the knee flexion position to improve rotation and reduce occult blood after arthroplasty in surgical patients. Material and Methods: The study design was a systematic, quantitative review, the population was 27 articles, and the sample was 10 scientific articles published and indexed in scientific databases, the instrument was a database search: PubMed. To evaluate the articles, the GRADE System was used, which evaluated the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendation. Results: The 10 articles correspond to China 70%, Italy 20%, Iran 10% respectively. In relation to the designs, 70% are randomized controlled trials and 30% are systematic reviews. Conclusion: From the evidence found, 80% (n=08/10) show that the knee flexion position is effective in improving rotation and reducing occult blood after arthroplasty in a surgical patient, because it improved the angle of movement and decreased hospital time. Of the evidence found, it was concluded that in 20% (n=02/10) there was little evidence, therefore the effectiveness of the finding could not be determined.

Objetivo: Sistematizar las evidencias sobre la efectividad de la posición de flexión de rodilla para mejorar la rotación y la disminución de sangre oculta después de la artroplastia en paciente quirúrgico. Material y Métodos: El diseño de estudio una revisión sistemática, de tipo cuantitativo, la población fue de 27 artículos, y la muestra fue de 10 artículos científicos publicados e indexados en las bases de datos científicos, el instrumento fue búsqueda en base de datos: PubMed, . para la evaluación de los artículos se utilizó el Sistema GRADE el cual evaluó la calidad de evidencia y la fuerza de recomendación. Resultados: Los 10 artículos corresponden a China 70%, Italia 20%, Irán 10% respectivamente. En relación a los diseños son el 70% ensayo controlado aleatorizado y 30% de revisión sistemática. Conclusión: De las evidencias encontradas señalan que el 80%(n=08/10) existe eficacia de la posición de flexión de rodilla para mejorar la rotación y la disminución de sangre oculta después de la artroplastia en paciente quirúrgico, debido a que mejoro el ángulo de movimiento y disminuyo el tiempo hospitalario. De las evidencias encontradas se concluyó que el 20% (n=02/10) existe poca cantidad de evidencia por tanto no se pudo determinar la efectividad en el hallazgo.
