Attitude of professionals and the quality of care in the department of gineco obstetricia of the chancay hospital and basic health services: “Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López”, 2017

Abstract

With the objective of the study was to establish the level of relationship between the attitude of professionals with the quality of care in the obstetrics gynecology department of the Chancay hospital and Basic Health Services "Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López", 2017. The type of research is applied, the quantitative approach and the non-experimental design. The population consisted of obstetricians, gynecologists and patients of the obstetrics gynecology department of Chancay hospital and the non-probabilistic sample was represented by 80 people: 40 obstetricians, gynecologists and 40 patients. With respect to the techniques, the survey was used and the questionnaires as instruments. The 40 health professionals that make up the department of obstetrics were given a survey to assess their professional attitude. The 40 patients of the various departments of the obstetrics gynecology department were given a survey to assess the quality of care The general result of the study through the Spearman correlation test yielded a value of 4.72 corroborating the general hypothesis. The conclusion is that the attitude of the professionals is directly related to the quality of care in the department of obstetrics and gynecology of the Chancay hospital and Basic Health Service "Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López ", 2017.

Con el objetivo de establecer el nivel de relación entre la actitud de los profesionales con la calidad de atención en el departamento de gíneco obstetricia del hospital de Chancay y Servicios Básicos de Salud “Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López”, 2017, se realizó una investigación de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por los obstetras, ginecólogos y pacientes del departamento de gíneco obstetricia del hospital de Chancay y la muestra no probabilística la representaron 80 personas: 40 obstetras, ginecólogos y 40 pacientes. Con respecto a las técnicas, se utilizó la encuesta y como instrumentos los cuestionarios. A los 40 profesionales de la salud que conforman el departamento de gíneco obstetricia se les aplicó una encuesta para evaluar la actitud profesional. A los 40 pacientes de los diversos servicios del departamento de gíneco obstetricia se les aplicó una encuesta para evaluar la calidad de atención. El resultado general del estudio a través de la prueba de la correlación de Spearman arrojó un valor de 4.72 corroborando la hipótesis general. Llegando a la conclusión que la actitud de los profesionales se relaciona directamente con la calidad de atención en el departamento de gíneco obstetricia del hospital de Chancay y Servicio Básicos de Salud “Dr. Hidalgo Atoche López”, 2017
