Knowledge and application of biosafety standards in the health personnel of the pediatric service of a public hospital in Huancayo, 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research will be to establish the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and the application of biosafety standards in the health personnel of the pediatric service, Huancayo 2022. The method will be the hypothetical deductive one because it starts from the observation of the population and a hypothesis is proposed to establish the link between variables. The study will be applied type. The population will be the staff that works in the pediatric service of the HRDMI El Carmen, which makes a total of 40 professionals. The sample is census type, and convenience sampling. In the investigation to identify both variables, the survey technique will be used with a questionnaire on biosafety measures. The data and all the information collected will be handled in the statistical program SPSS. The software will show us the type of link that exists between variables, tabulating tables/graphs with a high degree of statistical adjustment. To test the hypothesis, the Kendal Tau b test will be used, since they variables of the ordinal type and have a sample of less than 50.

El objetivo de esta investigación será Establecer la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y la aplicación de las normas de bioseguridad en el personal de salud del servicio de pediatría, Huancayo 2022. El método será el hipotético deductivo porque parte de la observación de la población y se plantea una hipótesis para establecer el vínculo entre variables. El estudio será de tipo aplicado. La población será el personal que trabaja en el servicio de pediatría del HRDMI El Carmen, que hacen un total de 40 profesionales. En la investigación para identificar ambas variables se usará la técnica de la encuesta con un cuestionario sobre medidas de bioseguridad. Los datos y toda la información recopilada se manejará en el programa estadístico SPSS. El software nos arrojará el tipo de vínculo que existen entre variables, tabulando tablas/gráficos con alto grado de ajuste estadístico. Para probar la hipótesis se usará la prueba de Tau b de Kendal, por tratarse de variables de tipo ordinal y tener una muestra menor a 50.
