Knowledge and attitude in the management of neonatal pain by the nursing professional in a clinic in Lima – 2022

Abstract

The objective of this study is: “Determine the level of knowledge and attitude in the management of neonatal pain by the nursing professional in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a Clinic in Lima – 2022”. This study will be developed with the quantitative approach, the hypothetical-deductive methodology, applied type, non-experimental design and cross-sectional correlational research level that will allow determining the relationship between two or more variables. Taking as a sample 68 nursing professional who work in the neonatal intensive care unit of a private clinic; to collect the data, 02 instruments will be applied, one for each variable which was adapted by Millan (2012) and modified by Quezada (2018). The results will be entered into the Microsoft Excel program, then the descriptive statistical analysis method will be used, with relative frequency tables and to validate the hypothesis, the chi square will be used considering a significance level of 5%.

Este estudio se desarrollará con el enfoque cuantitativo, la metodología hipotético-deductivo, de tipo aplicado, diseño no experimental y nivel de investigación correlacional de corte transversal que permitirá determinar la relación entre dos o más variables. Teniendo como muestra a 68 profesional de enfermería que trabajan en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de una Clínica privada; para recolectar los datos se aplicaran 02 instrumentos, uno para cada variable el cual fue adaptado por Millán (2012) y modificado por Quezada (2018). Los resultados serán ingresados al programa Microsoft Excel, luego se usara el método de análisis estadístico descriptivo, con tablas de frecuencia relativa y para validar la hipótesis se hará uso del Chi cuadrado considerando un nivel de significación de 5%.
