Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the factors associated with the level of anxiety in patients scheduled for surgery at the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital - Lima, 2021. Materials and methods: The present research is developed taking into account the parameters of the quantitative approach, the type of research assumed in the present study is basic. The estimated population will be made up of 102 patients who will undergo surgery at the Surgical Center of the Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz Hospital. For the data collection stage, the survey technique will be used and the instrument will be the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS), made up of 6 items.
