Climate and work stress in workers of the District Municipality of Inambari-2023

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the relationship between climate and work stress among workers at the District Municipality of Inambari in 2023. The methodology was quantitative, with a basic descriptive-correlational level, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The Climate Scale CL-SPC and the Work Stress Scale OIT-OMS were applied to a sample of 95 administrative workers from the District Municipality of Inambari in the Madre de Dios region. The results indicated an inverse and significant relationship (p < 0.05), although with a minimal effect size, between work climate and work stress (rho = -0.383). It was concluded that negative perceptions of work environment aspects are related to maladaptive responses from workers due to a lack of resources to cope with the demands of this environment.

La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre clima y estrés laboral en los trabajadores de la Municipalidad Distrital de Inambari – 2023. La metodología utilizada es de enfoque, cuantitativo, de tipo básica, nivel descriptivo – correlacional y diseño no experimental y transversal, siendo la muestra 95 lo trabajadores del área administrativa de la Municipalidad Distrital de Inambari de la región de Madre de Dios, a quienes se les aplicó la. Escala de clima laboral CL-SPC y Escala de Estrés Laboral OIT- OMS. Los resultados indicaron que existe relación inversa y significativa (p<.05), aunque con tamaño del efecto mínimo, entre clima y estrés laboral (rho=-.383). Se concluye que las percepciones negativas sobre aspectos vinculados al ambiente de trabajo, se relaciona con las respuestas desadaptativas que el trabajador muestra por falta de recursos para afrontar las demandas de dicho entorno
