Relationship between the perception of nursing care quality and family satisfaction in critically ill patients in the ICU at a Lima hospital, 2022

Abstract

Quality nursing care is the execution of sets of activities and processes that improve the restoration of the patient's health. Then your user needs must respond to their needs and expectations. The objective of the present study is “to determine the relationship that exists between the perception of the quality of nursing care with the degree of satisfaction of the family members of the critically ill patient in the Intensive Care Unit of an Es Salud Lima -2022 hospital.” The methodology used will be deductive, quantitative approach, non-experimental and basic observational, descriptive, correlational and transversal. The Sample will be made up of 45 participants who are family members of patients with hospitalization in the ICU. The survey will be applied using a validated questionnaire with reliability for the independent and dependent variables (KR-20 = 0.876 and KR-20 = 0.827). The data recollection process will be between the months of January to March 2022 and then the data will be recorded, classified, tabulated and coded using Excel 2013 and analyzed using SPSS 25, where tables, charts, and graphs will be obtained. Likewise, the relationship between the variables and the hypothesis test will be carried out with Spearman's Rho test, being a non-parametric analysis, which will serve to verify the proposed hypotheses, and will subsequently be analyzed and interpreted.

La calidad de atención de enfermería es la ejecución conjuntos de actividades y procesos que mejoran la restauración de la salud del paciente. Entonces sus necesidades de los usuarios deben responder a sus necesidades y expectativas. El objetivo del presente estudio es “determinar la relación que existe entre la percepción de la calidad de atención de enfermería con el grado de satisfacción de los familiares del paciente crítico en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un hospital de Es Salud Lima -2022”. La metodología empleada será deductiva, enfoque cuantitativo, observacional no experimental y básica, descriptivo correlacional y transversal. La Muestra estará conformado por 45 participantes familiares de los pacientes con instancia hospitalaria en UCI. Se aplicará encuesta mediante un cuestionario validado con una confiabilidad para variable independiente y dependiente ( KR-20 = 0,876 y KR-20 = 0,827) . El proceso de rerecolección de datos será entre los meses de enero a marzo del 2022 y luego se los datos serán registrados, clasificados, tabulados y codificados mediente Excel 2013 y analizados mediante SPSS 25, donde se obtendrá las tablas, cuadros, gráficos. Asimismo, la relación entre las variables y la prueba de hipótesis se realizará con la prueba de Rho de Spearman, siendo un análisis no paramétrico, que servirá para comprobar las hipótesis planteadas, y posteriormente será analizada e interpretada.
