Stress and job performance of nursing professionals from the adult intensive care unit of the Cayetano Heredia Clinic, Lima 2023

Abstract

The research will be carried out considering the objective of "Determining the relationship between stress and job performance of nursing professionals in the Adult Intensive Care Unit of the Cayetano Heredia Clinic, Lima 2023", in this line it will be of a quantitative approach, non-experimental design. , correlational; For the sample, 40 nursing professionals from the intensive care service will be considered; on the other hand, the instruments will consist of a questionnaire for work stress, the Maslach Test of 14 items and three dimensions, adapted by Ronald Castillo and Mildred Paredes, and for work performance the questionnaire of 12 items and three dimensions by Liliana Campos and Flor Torres , the same ones that have their validity and reliability test, reporting the first index instrument for each dimension of 0.87; 0.92 and 0.84 ; and the second instrument, Job Performance Questionnaire, an index of 0.704, both through Cronbach's Alpha; To find the results, the SPSS statistic will be used, which will allow the information to be analyzed descriptively and to test the hypotheses, the Shapiro Wilk normality test will first be done and with this, determine with what type of correlation coefficient the hypotheses will be tested.

La investigación se desarrollará considerando como objetivo “Determinar la relación entre el estrés y el desempeño laboral de los profesionales de enfermería de unidad de cuidados intensivos adultos de la clínica Cayetano Heredia, Lima 2023”, en esta línea será de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, correlacional; para la muestra se considerará a 40 profesionales de enfermería del servicio de cuidados intensivos; por otro lado, los instrumentos consistirán en un cuestionario para estrés laboral el Test de Maslach de 14 ítems y tres dimensiones de Liliana Campos y Flor Torres, los mismos cuentan con su prueba de validez y confiabilidad
