Level of knowledge and its relationship with anxiety in pre–surgical patients in the surgery service in a hospital of MINSA, Callao 2023

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between level of knowledge and anxiety in presurgical patients of the Surgery service or area in a MINSA Hospital, Callao 2023. Material and method: quantitative approach; inductive and deductive; descriptive, correlational and transversal. Population made up of 32 hospitalized patients from the surgery service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital, taking all participants as a sample. The technique will be the “Presurgical Information Level Test” survey and the “Hamilton Anxiety Scale” interview.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre nivel de conocimientos y la ansiedad en pacientes pre quirúrgicos del servicio o área de Cirugía en un Hospital de MINSA, Callao 2023. Material y método: enfoque cuantitativo; inductivo y deductivo; descriptivo, correlacional y transversal. Población formada por 32 pacientes hospitalizados del servicio de cirugía del Hospital Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión, tomándose como muestra la totalidad de participantes. La técnica será la encuesta de “Test sobre el Nivel de Información Prequirúrgico” y la entrevista de “Escala de Ansiedad de Hamilton”.
