Level of knowledge and attitude of mothers regarding vaccines in children under one year of the C.S Mirones 2021

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of mothers regarding vaccines in children under one year of age at the Mirones Health Center 2021

Methodology: Research of the hypothetical-deductive, applied approach, non-experimental design, with a correlation level. The technique for data collection was the survey using the questionnaire as a tool, while for data processing and descriptive analysis such as tables and graphs, the MS-Excel and SPSS-25 programs were used. The sample consisted of 100 mothers with children under 1 year of age from the Mirones health center.

RESULTS: The significant relationship between the variables was evident with a significance value = 0.000 < 0.05, then the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted, that is, there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of mothers regarding vaccines in children under one year of age at the Mirones Health Center 2021. In addition, the Spearman coefficient (0.609) indicates that the relationship between the variables is good and positive

CONCLUSIONS: The study allowed us to conclude that the level of knowledge has a positive impact on the attitudes of mothers regarding the vaccinations of their minor children at the Mirones Health Center 2021

"Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de las madres respecto a las vacunas en niños menores de un año del CS Mirones 2021 Metodología: Investigación del enfoque hipotético - deductivo, aplicado, diseño no experimental, con nivel de correlación. la técnica para recojo de datos fue la encuesta teniendo como herramienta al cuestionario, mientras que para el tratamiento de datos y análisis descriptivo como tablas y gráficos se utilizó se utilizó en programa MS-Excel y el SPSS-25. la muestra fue constituida por 100 madres con niños menores a 1 año de edad del centro de salud Mirones. RESULTADOS: Se evidenció la relación significativa entre las variables con un valor de significancia = 0,000 < 0,05 entonces se rechazó la hipótesis nula y aceptó la alterna, es decir existe relación significativa entre el nivel de conocimiento y la actitud de las madres respecto a las vacunas en niños menores de un año del CS Mirones 2021 Además, el coeficiente de Spearman (0,609) señala que la relación entre las variables es buena y positiva CONCLUCIONES: El estudio permitió concluir que el nivel de conocimiento incide de manera positiva en las actitudes de las madres respecto de las vacunas de sus menores hijos en el Centro de Salud de Mirones 2021
