Relationship between depression and nutritional status in elderly adults who come to the Lauriama health center, 2022.

Abstract

The research entitled "Relationship between depression and nutritional status in older adults who attend the Lauriama Health Center, 2022", had the general objective of determining the relationship between depression and nutritional status in older adults. The research study is of an applied type, deductive method, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design. The population consisted of 250 older adults and a sample of 140 older adults. Interview and anthropometry techniques will be used. The instruments that will be used to measure the depression variable will be the Beck Test for depression and the Mini Nutritional Assessment Form for the nutritional status variable. After collecting information, an information foundation will be prepared using the SPSS Statistical Software version 24.0. Likewise, the Pearson correlation test will be used to counteract both study variables.

"La investigación titulada “Relación de la depresión y el estado nutricional en adultos mayores que acuden al Centro de Salud Lauriama, 2022”, tuvo como objetivo general: Determinar la relación de la depresión y estado nutricional en los adultos mayores. El estudio de investigación es de tipo aplicada, método deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental transversal correlacional. la población estuvo conformado por 250 adultos mayores y una muestra de 140 adultos mayores. Se utilizará técnica entrevista y antropometría, los instrumentos que se empleará para medir la variable depresión será el Test de Beck para depresión y para la variable de estado nutricional la Ficha Valoración Mini Nutricional. Posterior a la recopilación de información se confeccionara un cimiento de información usando el Software Estadístico SPSS versión 24.0 asimismo, se utilizará la Prueba correlación de Pearson para contrarrestar ambas variables de estudio."
