Knowledge about vaccination and its relationship with child immunization compliance among mothers of children under 5 years of age at San Genaro Mother and Child Center Chorrillos, Lima 2022

Abstract

Objective: Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about vaccination and compliance with childhood immunization among mothers of children under 5 years of age at the San Genaro Chorrillos Maternal and Child Center. Material and methods: The work has a quantitative approach, the methodological design is descriptive and cross-sectional. The research was carried out at the San Genaro Chorrillos Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022. For the sample, the non-probabilistic type was used where a total of 90 mothers of children under 5 years of age came for control, this being the estimated population with inclusion criteria. and exclusion.

Objetivo: Determinar la relación del nivel de conocimiento sobre la vacunación con el cumplimiento de la inmunización infantil entre madres de niños menores de 5 años en el Centro Materno Infantil San Genaro Chorrillos. Material y métodos: El trabajo tiene enfoque cuantitativo, el diseño metodológico es descriptivo y de corte transversal. La investigación se realizó en el Centro Materno Infantil San Genaro Chorrillos, Lima 2022. Para la muestra se utilizó el tipo no probabilístico donde acudieron a control un total de 90 madres de niños menores de 5 años, siendo ello la población estimada con criterios de inclusión y exclusión.
