Burnout syndrome and work performance of nursing professionals of the Surgical Center of a Clinic in Lima, 2023

Abstract

The general objective of this study is to determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and the work performance of nursing professionals at the Surgical Center of a Lima Clinic, 2023. Materials and Methods: The research is a hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The population will comprise a total of 80 nursing professionals working in the surgical center area of the Good Hope Clinic, LimaPeru. Similarly, the two study variables will be measured using the survey technique and two questionnaires, respectively. To examine the validity of the Burnout syndrome level instrument, 15 nurses will participate in a pilot study with a Crombach's alpha value of 0.865 and for Job Performance, Crombach's alpha of 0.940. Once the data has been collected through the instruments, a database will be created in Microsoft Excel and transmitted to the SPSS statistical program to be able to code the variables. An inferential analysis will be performed, using Pearson's statistical test, which is considered significant when the value is less than or equal to 5% (p0.05), which will be able to determine the association between the variables.

El presente estudio se ha propuesto como Objetivo general: Determinar cuál es la relación entre el Síndrome de Burnout y el Desempeño Laboral de los licenciados de enfermería con especialidad del Centro Quirúrgico de una Clínica particular de Lima, 2023. Materiales y Métodos: La investigación es de método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, no experimental, corte transversal y correlacional. La población comprenderá un total de 80 licenciados de enfermería con especialidad que laboran en el en el área del centro quirúrgico de una clínica particular, Lima-Perú. Del mismo modo, se medirán las dos variables de estudio utilizando la encuesta como técnica y dos cuestionarios, respectivamente. Para examinar la validez del instrumento del nivel del síndrome de Burnout, será con 15 licenciados de enfermería con especialidad que participarán de un estudio piloto con valor alfa de Crombach de 0,865 y para el Desempeño Laboral, alfa de Crombach de 0,940. Una vez recogidos los datos mediante los instrumentos, se confeccionará una base de datos en Microsoft Excel y se transmitirá al programa estadístico SPSS para poder codificar los datos. Se realizará un análisis inferencial, mediante la prueba estadística de Pearson, que se considera significativa cuando el valor es menor o igual al 5% (p 0,05), que podrá determinar la asociación entre las variables
