Knowledge about kidney disease and self-care practices in patients under hemodialysis treatment at the H&S occupational clinic – Huancayo 2023

Abstract

The objective of the study will be to determine how knowledge about kidney disease is related to self-care practices in patients with hemodialysis treatment at the H&S Occupational Clinic of Huancayo 2023. Material and method: the study will be of an applied type, the Hypothetical Deductive research method will be used, it will have a correlational research design, the Population and sample: 80 patients receiving hemodialysis treatment will make up the research study. Because the sample and the study population are the same, we will use a census sample. The instruments used in the research are made up of two questionnaires for each variable that will later be analyzed and systematized. In the first instance, the data obtained will be reflected in Microsoft Excel tables, then the data will be analyzed using the SPSS version 25 program. The statistical test that will be used in the investigation is the Rho Spearman correlation.

El estudio tendrá como objetivo determinar cómo los conocimientos sobre la enfermedad renal se relacionan con las prácticas de autocuidado en pacientes con tratamiento de hemodiálisis de la Clínica H&S Ocupacional de Huancayo 2023. Material y método: el estudio será de tipo aplicada, se utilizará como método de investigación el Hipotético deductivo, tendrá un diseño de investigación correlacional, la Población y muestra: 80 pacientes que reciben tratamiento de hemodiálisis conformaran el estudio de investigación. Debido a que la muestra y la población de estudio son iguales, utilizaremos una muestra censal. Los instrumentos utilizados en la investigación están conformados por dos cuestionarios de cada variable que posteriormente serán analizados y sistematizados. En primera instancia los datos obtenidos se plasmarán en tablas de Microsoft Excel, luego se analizarán los datos utilizando el programa SPSS versión 25. La prueba estadística que se utilizará en la investigación es la correlación Rho Spearman.
