Level of knowledge about dengue and preventive practice in the people of a community of Iquitos. Peru 2023

Abstract

Objective: Determine how the level of knowledge about dengue is related to preventive practice in the inhabitants of a community of Iquitos Peru- 2023. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study approach was developed; This study considered 80 people who belong to the study community and will work with the entire population to be a census sample. Results. In the identification dimension of the vector of the level of knowledge about dengue with preventive practice, where we find medium knowledge with preventive actions low at 35%. In the individual and home protection dimension of the level of knowledge about dengue with preventive practice, where we find medium knowledge with low preventive actions at 27.5%. The level of knowledge about dengue with preventive practice, where we find medium knowledge with low preventive actions at 30.0%.

Objetivo: Determinar como el nivel de conocimiento sobre el dengue se relaciona con la practica preventiva en los pobladores de una comunidad de Iquitos Perú- 2023. Metodología: Se desarrolló enfoque de estudio cuantitativo, aplicado, no experimental, correlacional, de corte transversal; Este estudio considero a 80 personas que pertenecen a la comunidad de estudio y se trabajará con toda la población para ser una muestra censal. Resultados. En la dimensión identificación del vector del nivel de conocimiento sobre el dengue con practica preventiva, donde encontramos medio conocimiento con acciones preventivas bajas en 35%. En la dimensión protección individual y de la vivienda del nivel de conocimiento sobre el dengue con practica preventiva, donde encontramos medio conocimiento con acciones preventivas bajas en 27.5%. El nivel de conocimiento sobre el dengue con practica preventiva, donde encontramos medio conocimiento con acciones preventivas bajas en 30.0%.
