Early stimulation and language development in children from 2 to 3 years of age in a health center in Jesús María, 2024

Abstract

The objective of this project is "to determine the relationship between early stimulation and language development in children aged 2 to 3 years at a health center in Jesús María, 2024." Regarding the methodology, the study will use a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design; with a sample of 81 children aged 2 to 3 years who attend their CRED check-ups at a health center in Jesús María, selected using simple random probability sampling. The variables will be measured through the application of the TEPSI Psychomotor Development Test and the Revised Navarra Oral Language Test (PLON-R), both adapted for national use. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequencies, percentages) and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov Test, Pearson or Spearman Correlation Test). From an ethical perspective, the study poses no harm to the individuals or institutions involved.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo “determinar la relación entre la estimulación temprana y el desarrollo del lenguaje en niños de 2 a 3 años de edad de un centro de salud de Jesús María, 2024”. En lo que respecta a la metodología, en el estudio se utilizará un método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, transversal y correlacional; en una muestra de 81 niños de 2 a 3 años de edad que asisten a su control CRED en un centro de salud de Jesús María, quienes serán seleccionados usando un muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. Las variables serán medidas mediante la aplicación del Test de desarrollo psicomotor TEPSI y la Prueba de Lenguaje Oral Navarra Revisada PLON-R, ambos adaptados en el ámbito nacional. Los datos recabados serán analizados usando procedimientos correspondientes a la estadística descriptiva (frecuencias, porcentajes) e inferencial (Prueba de Kolmogorov, Prueba de correlación de Pearson o Spearman). Desde el punto de vista ético el estudio no reviste daños ni a las personas ni instituciones involucradas.
