Knowledge and practice of the kangaroo method of nurses who work in the neonatal intensive care unit of a Ministry of Health hospital, Lima - 2023

Abstract

Objective: The main purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and practice by nursing professionals in the kangaroo method in the neonatal intensive care unit service of a Ministry of Health (MINSA) hospital in the year 2023. Methodology: A quantitative approach will be used, with a type of applied research, with a descriptive and correlational level with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, considering a population of 60 nursing professionals from the nursing service of the unit in question; two questionnaires will be applied, namely: one for the level of knowledge variable and for the other practical variable, which have been validated and will process the information using the statistical program SPSS version 26.0 to obtain the results of the descriptive and inferential analysis.

Será empleado un enfoque cuantitativo, con tipo de investigación aplicada, con un nivel descriptivo y correlacional con un diseño no experimental y corte transversal, considerando una población de 60 profesionales de enfermería del servicio de enfermería de la unidad en mención; se aplicarán dos cuestionario a saber: uno para la variable nivel de conocimientos y para la otra variable prácticas, los cuales han sido validados y procesarán la información mediante el programa estadístico SPSS versión 26.0 para obtener los resultados del análisis descriptivo e inferencial.
