Level of knowledge and nursing practice on aspiration of secretions in intubated patients in the emergency service of the Hospital de Huaral, 2023

Abstract

Objective: To determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and nursing practice on secretion aspiration in intubated patients in the Emergency Service of the Huaral Hospital, 2023. Methods: The present study will be hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive, correlational and non-experimental design. The population and sample made up of 30 nursing care professionals, the sampling being non-probabilistic for convenience. For the processing and analysis of the survey data, first the collected information will be ordered, then the coding will be carried out, once the data has been collected, the data will be organized according to their study variables, the data will be processed using the Microsoft Excel 2019 program and the statistical software SPSS version 26.0 to generate tables and/or graphs by dimensions and indicators of the study variables; Likewise, it will be used to determine the relationship between variables through the Spearman Correlation Test (Rho).

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y la práctica de enfermería sobre aspiración de secreciones en pacientes intubados en el Servicio de Emergencia del Hospital de Huaral, 2023. Métodos: El presente estudio será método hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, descriptivo, correlacional y diseño no experimental. La población y muestra conformada por 30 profesionales de enfermería asistenciales, siendo el muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Para el procesamiento y análisis de los datos de las encuestas, primero se ordenará la información recolectada, luego se llevará a cabo la codificación, una vez recolectados los datos se organizará los datos de acuerdo a sus variables de estudio, los datos se procesaran utilizando el programa Microsoft Excel 2019 y el software estadístico SPSS versión 26.0 para generar tablas y/o gráficos por dimensiones e indicadores de las variables del estudio; asimismo, se usará para determinar la relación entre variables mediante la Prueba de Correlación de Spearman (Rho).
