Quality of care and its relationship with the satisfaction of mothers of children under five years of age who attend the growth and development service at the municipal hospital of Los Olivos, Lima 2022

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of mothers of children under 5 years of age who attend the Growth and Development Service of a municipal hospital in Los Olivos. This is research with a hypothetical deductive study method, it is of an applied type, it is also framed in a quantitative approach, it also has a non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional design. The census population is made up of 80 mothers. The technique to apply will be the survey and the questionnaire will be used as an instrument. Both questionnaires had content validity ratified in other national research and their reliability was strong. As for the results, by applying Spearman's Rho statistic, the prevalence of a value of (p=<.05) was found, as well as a coefficient of .561, which allowed us to conclude that the quality of care tends to be directly associated with the satisfaction of mothers of children under 5 years of age who come to the Service for the revision of Growth and Development of a municipal hospital in Los Olivos.

Se realizó la investigación el cual tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que se da entre la calidad de atención y la satisfacción de madres de niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Servicio de Crecimiento y Desarrollo de un hospital municipal de Los Olivos. Se trata de una investigación que posee un método de estudio hipotético deductivo, es de tipo aplicada, además se encuentra enmarcada en un enfoque de tipo cuantitativo, además cuenta con un diseño no experimental, correlacional y es de corte transversal. Correspondiente a la población censal se encuentra integrada por 80 madres de familia. La técnica para aplicar será la encuesta y como instrumento se utilizará al cuestionario. Ambos cuestionarios tuvieron validez de contenido ratificada en otras investigaciones nacionales y su confiabilidad fue fuerte. En cuanto a los resultados se pudo conocer aplicando el estadígrafo Rho de Spearman la prevalencia de un valor de (p=<.05) así como también un coeficiente de ,561 que permitió concluir que la calidad de la atención tiende a asociarse directamente con la satisfacción de las madres de niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Servicio para la revisión de Crecimiento y Desarrollo de un hospital municipal de Los Olivos.
