Self-care of temporary central venous catheter for hemodialysis in patients with renal failure in the intensive care unit of the Arzobispo Loayza national hospital, 2021

Abstract

Materials and methods. The present research will have a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is a cross-sectional research. The population will consist of 30 patients with chronic renal failure who are hospitalized at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, the participating patients were selected under inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research, an inclusion criterion is that patients who are hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital. The technique to be used in the work will be the survey, with which a significant amount of data will be obtained in an optimal and efficient way. To measure the level of self-care of the central venous catheter for hemodialysis, the data collection instrument will be used, through a questionnaire by Ortega and Eulogio (2018), this includes 13 items grouped into 3 dimensions, where ethical considerations will be applied. during the intervention.

Materiales y métodos. La presente investigación será de enfoque cuantitativo, en cuanto al diseño metodológico es una investigación de corte transversal. La población estará constituida por 30 pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica que se encuentren hospitalizados en el hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, los pacientes participantes fueron seleccionados bajo criterios de inclusión y exclusión planteados en la investigación, un criterio de inclusión es que participaran los pacientes que se encuentren hospitalizados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. La técnica para utilizarse en el trabajo será la encuesta, con la cual se obtendrá una cantidad importante de datos de forma óptima y eficaz. Para medir el nivel de autocuidado del catéter venoso central para hemodiálisis, se utilizará el instrumento de recolección de datos, por medio de un cuestionario de Ortega y Eulogio (2018), este comprende 13 ítems agrupados en 3 dimensiones, donde se aplicarán las consideraciones éticas durante la intervención.
